Winzer Krems

Winzer Krems

Winzer Krems is a cooperative and one of the most significant producers and most successful exporters of estate bottled quality wine in Austria. The domicile in Krems with the venerable address “Sandgrube 13” is an obligation for quality. Numerous international awards are testimony to high quality standards. The estate is solely owned by 1.150 winegrowers. They deliver their grapes from 990 hectares of vineyards in Krems and the surrounding wine growing regions (Kremstal, Traisental, Wachau, Wagram, Kamptal). First priority is that hand-picked grapes are delivered physiologically ripe and healthy. The winegrowers observe guidelines for pruning, soil treatment, foliage treatment and pest management. Harvest reduction plays an important role. A quality consultant and his team check the compliance with all guidelines during the growing season and oversees the quality controls during the harvest.
