Grüner Veltliner, “Gebling” 1ÖTW DAC

Gruener Veltliner may be considered the national wine of Austria. It is grown in more than one third of the country’s vineyards. The quality potential of Veltliner wines encompasses anything from simple, light wines for any occasion to powerful, complex, top wines. Bright yellow with a touch of green characterises this Veltliner. Its spicy quality can already be detected on the nose. On the palate the wine represents a great harmony between spicyness and fruity elegance and impresses with a long, lasting finish It is a classic Austrian wine with lots of charisma.
I may add that with the trend toward light, low-calorie, low-fat, even vegetarian foods, a wine like this is the perfect match for our ‘modern’ eating habits.
