Aglianico grapes find perfect volcanic soil conditions around the village of Taurasi near Avellino and produce arguably the best high quality wine of Italy’s south. This is a well-crafted, athletic, dense and concentrated wine with deep, dark fruit layered with cinnamon and allspice and firm, yet fine tannins which lend this wine muscle and breeding. It has matured beautifully and is ready to drink.
