The ample bouquet is suggestive of notes of rosehip and then gives way to the power of red fruit: ripe cherries, summer melon, strawberry preserve, a hint of rosemary and orange zest. Guiry’s fruit is from the younger plantings and ages in concrete vats for 12 months. Wood flavors would interefere with the freshness of the fruit. Therefore the wine remains fruit-driven and well structured on the palate with good acidity and a very persistent yet velvety tannins.
