A polished and clean interpretation of Lagrein where floral notes of violets and eucalyptus give way to blackberry and Maraschino cherry, soon followed by more evolved notes of spicy pepper, leather and tobacco. 16 months in oak (small and medium size, 40% new). Drinking beautifully right now and will have a long and promising future. Perhaps the best Lagrein in Alto Adige, it offers a great price vs. quality ratio.
