The 2021 Steinbühel is a refined, mineral-rich Riesling with crisp citrus, stone fruit depth, and a clean, elegant finish.
A nose of bright citrus (lemon/zest), stone fruits (peach, apricot), gentle tropical hints (pineapple), flint/mineral undertones follows through to a palate of taut, vibrant acidity with a clean stone fruit core, and an elegant and mineral‑driven, long, zesty, and saline finish.
Immediately enjoyable.
Steinbühel, documented since 1322 is Malat’s driest vineyard. The soils are a mix of crystalline primary rock (granulite/granite) with minimal loess cover. Ideal for lean, tightly structured Rieslings.
