Sobrero Francesco

Sixteen hectares of vineyards, 13 in the heart of Castiglione di Falletto and 3 in Canelli, the Sobrero Winery has plots in optimal locations for the production of high quality wines. The winery borders and shares sites with illustrious names such as Giuseppe Mascarello, Paolo Scavino, Vietti and others.

In 1964, after years of cultivating and selling grapes, Francesco Sobrero with the support of his young son Settimo, bottled his first Barolo under the Sobrero label. In 2000, Settimo’s son Flavio took over the company bringing new ideas and modernizing the cellar with the latest technology. Flavio increased the quality while also adopting a transition to organic farming.

With Barolos from select vineyard sites such as Pernanno, Langhe Bianca, Dolcetto and Barbera d’Alba, Moscato d’Asti and Alto Langa, Sobrero offers a range of high quality Piemonte wines that are enjoyed and appreciated in many countries worldwide.
